I’ve tried teaching my son to raise the blinds in his room, not just to keep them working, but because condensation turns into mildew if you don’t. Spoiler: he didn’t listen. Cue me sanding, priming, and painting window corners all weekend.
And it never stops! This month alone I replaced a cracked oven heating element and discovered washing machine hoses apparently need to be replaced every five years. Who knew?
